The first-person action games seemingly blends elements from a few different media. Ghostrunner seems to mix the first-person exploration of Mirror’s Edge, the combat of Dishonored, and the techno-futuristic world of The Matrix–which is getting a fourth entry with actors Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves reprising their roles.
Key to Ghostrunner is movement. Wall-running and jumping brings to mind some other games. Ratusnik doesn’t hide from influences, but rather celebrates them. The whole parkour, wall-running and enhancements of our hero’s movement abilities fit our futuristic setting and of course games like Mirror’s Edge or Titanfall come to mind.
Ascend humanity’s last remaining shelter, a great tower-city. The tower is torn by violence, poverty, and chaos. Conquer your enemies, discover the secrets of the superstructure and your own origin and obtain the power to challenge The Keymaster.
